Description
A Chippendale style, highly figured pollard oak end table, with canted corners, gallery edge and pierced under stretcher. This particular finish comes from a tree that has been ‘pollarded’, a pruning technique designed to control the height of the tree. The result is a dense head of foliage producing an amazing network of swirling grains and figures under the surface which can be used for beautifully decorative veneers as seen in this end table.
